Nautical bookends,Antique Pair Book antique "Anchor book ends" were made from a ships rudder mounts, They are hand made steel anchors on brass basses with their original pulleys set on flat brass to make the most wonderful antique Brass Mahogany Book Ends, Anchor Book Ends are hard to come by. This Pair of Antique Mahogany and Brass Mounted Anchor Book Ends measures 5 and one quarter inches wide by 8 and one half inches deep and they stand 8 and one half inches tall. Wonderful nautical theme, these antique brass and mahogany maritime book ends would make a great gift.They will hold the heaviest of books with out fear of them falling over like most bookends and make a great addition to any desk or library.

Antique cigarette dispensers,This Austrian folk art carved wood "cigarette dispenser" dates form c1900. It is a "Folk Art" piece brought back from Austria several years ago.This rare and wonderful piece has lever that pulls out which in doing so opens a drawer which an individual cigarette has drop into allowing the birds beak to come down and pick it up. This works quite well. All carved from fruit wood with impressive carving detail. This works with any cigarette thickness. The pieces measures 8 and one half inches long, four and one eighth inches wide and four inches high.

Sculptor F Gornik Bronze Letter Opener Sculpture

"F Gornik". This hand sculptured bronze letter opener measures 10 and one half inches long and stands 1 and three quarter inches tall. This unique pheasant letter opener has a footed base so it can stand on a flat surface. Be sure to view all the thumbnail images to see this item in more detail. Friedrich Gornik Austrian B 1877 D 1943. He studied sculpture at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts. He did work for porcelain factories in Austria depicting small animals, later having them cast in bronze. Signed F Gornik with a AR foundry mark.Gornik was an excellent sculptor and his works well regarded.

Antique English furniture flat top pine desk with drawers c1820,"flat top pine desk". This English pine desk measures 41 and one half inches wide by 21 and one half inches deep by 32 inches high with 13 inch wide doors. The middle drawer is 13 inches wide and the two side drawers are 12 inches wide and each has wide handmade dovetails. The left compartment has a single shelf, the the right has three wide dovetailed drawers and each door is raised paneled on the inside. All original with a dovetailed back splash. The back is made from three wide pine boards and is has a nice old was finish that looks great so the desk could be out the middle of a room if one wanted. This is a very hard size desk to come by. This is truly a lovely period antique English pine desk.
