Staghorn Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass

Staghorn Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass. This staghorn magnifying lens has a sterling silver cap and ferrule and a silver plate glass frame. The magnifying glass was added to this antique staghorn handle by a professional. We have a client that makes magnifying glasses out of rare and unusual antique pieces such as this stag horn, and no two pieces are the same. This would make the perfect gift or addition to any desk. This magnifying glass measures 10 inches long overall, from handle to outside of frame and the lens measures 3 and 15 sixteenths inches in diameter.

Antique Espinos Sterling silver desk set inkstand, This antique sterling silver desk set or inkstand is hallmarked "Espinos" with another hallmark with what appears to be a castle and the number 27 under it. This solid silver desk set weights 77 total. We are not sure of the country of original but most probably Spain or Portugal.The tray measures 11 3/4 inches by 9 inches deep. It is 9 inches from the base of the claw feet to the top of the helmet on the decorative center piece. This piece must have been made for someone very special or for an exhibit. It is truly the best solid silver desk set we have ever handled.

Antique Italian Apostle church bell, This "apostle bell" is solid bronze and dates from the late 19 century. This "apostle" bronze bell measures six inches high with a five and three quarter inches tray. This antique bell has a lovely sound. It would be the perfect servants bell. This heavy bell is very well casted and designed.

Silliman ink wells Chester CT. This"antique inkwell" was mad by Samuel Silliman and Company in Chester CT around 1830.Antique Ink Well. This antique Silliman Company inkwell measures 5 and one quarter inches in diameter at the top and the base and measures 3 and one quarter inches tall. The stenciling on this piece is all original and so are the blown glass bottles inside. Large hard to find size. Silliman made the best ink wells in America in the early to late 19th century.
