Antique desks,"Antique French desks" Period French furniture,Antique French drop front desks.French Louis XVl Walnut Secretaire A Abattant,desk, stamped by Paris cabinetmaker Courte. The rectangular grey marble top with outset corners above a case with long drawer over a fallfront writing surface over three long drawers flanked by fluted stiles on turned and fluted legs.This French fallfront desk measures, height 60 inches, width 43 inches. This piece is all original including its brasses. The desk is signed in three places. This is one of the best period 18th century French furniture pieces we have seen.
